Truthful Worship is a Christian ministry. Our aim is to provide an on-line facility that people can use to advance their own spiritual growth. We do not provide any direct ministry ourselves, but have rather partnered with two other ministries instead, namely Truth Transforms and Peaceful Hearts. We provide the on-line facilities for their on-line ministry.

Real, practical Christian life is what we have as our aim, in every aspect of life. For that reason we give attention to some very practical (and sometimes uncomfortable) aspects of life. Currently we focus on two aspects, namely living out our Christian conviction in the very private area of our sexuality, relational and emotional life, and also living out our Christian convictions in the workplace. We believe that both of these impact greatly on present-day Christians, and can be the cause of a mediocre life and a weak Christian witness. We might add to these two focus areas at a later stage. In everything we offer our aim is to provide everybody who participates in the various services with the opportunity to have an honest look at their own lives in the light of the Bible. We believe that the real, authentic, abundant life that Jesus died for two millennia ago is still relevant and available to those of us wanting to follow Him whole-heartedly.

Under no circumstances do we get involved in theological discussions or social issues, not because we believe it is wrong to do any of those, but rather because we have a different focus. Our aim is to provide a devotional environment to those wanting to make use of our services. We therefore invite you to explore what can be found on our site, and make use of that which benefits you in your spiritual journey. We unashamedly subscribe to a very direct Biblical approach, believing that a life focussed on God in obedience and devotion is what satisfies all of us. If we err in our approach, then we are careful to be over-cautious rather than over-liberal in our approach. Our services are for those who share our desire to apply the truths we find in the Bible in our lives rather than to evaluate the Bible in the light of our experiences.

Truthful Worship is more than the name we have chosen for ourselves. We believe that all of us are creatures of worship - we naturally worship something or somebody. We define worship as "The relationship you have with the person (or thing) that influences your decision making most", and as such we view worship as a natural human function as much as a religious activity. How are we to worship God in our everyday lives? It is in exploring this question that we structure our facilities to offer services to those wanting to live every aspect of their lives as close to God as possible. We do not explore avenues that have a goal to "see how far we can go without offending God too much". Our aim is the opposite, namely "how can I live to enhance and develop my intimacy with God as I endeavour to live in His presence every moment of my life".

However much we try to avoid it, all of us have to eventually decide for ourselves if we are happy with a God that we can prescribe to, on whose behalf we can think and decide, and whom we can box into only certain areas of our lives. We believe that if He really does exist, if He is a real Person that has relevance to our lives, then He relates to us in accordance to His Nature and on His terms. Who is He, and how does He relate to us? How are we to respond to Him? It is questions like these that we explore in a very practical way.
