This one hour video provides the full session of which the
Free Introductory Video is the first thirteen minutes. It is also the
first session of the eight-session scheduled seminar entitled "Struggling to accept God's stubborn love
" which is hosted from time to time on-line. It explores God's
intention with us, His goodwill towards us, and His desire to restore
and re-create us to be what He intended for us to be initially.
This video focuses on two very important aspects of our walk with God, namely
The fact that God is alive and involved in our lives in the same creative and life-giving way that He is introduced as the Bible opens. The point is made that His Word is not in the first instance a book of rules that we must obey, but rather an exciting journey with the God "who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist" (Rom 4:17).
It is as we settle in a peaceful relationship with Him that we are able to change and become like Him again. The image of God is within us, and He is able to bring about His purposes in our lives as we peacefully obey Him rather than frantically try to please Him (or at least not to offend Him too much).
